Katie Takahashi
Native of Tokyo, Katie Takahashi has worn many hats in the field of performing arts in Japan and the US. As artistic director, she develops collaborative theater projects (www.teamtakahashi.com) such as the new musical “Voices of the Wind – The Story of the Ninja” (Ninja Project) that she recently produced, wrote, co-songwrote, directed, and worked with Caron Eule as the choreographer. She has been twice presented at Chashama and The International Fringe Festival. Katie has also performed extensively as an actor and singer (“Knights of Prosperity” ABC-TV, LaMaMa ETC, Theatre Row Theatre), TV host (TV-Japan, NHK-BS), and dancer of Japanese traditional dance (Joyce SoHo, French Institute). |
