Lanina
Yuliya Lanina is a Russian-born American
artist based in New York City. Lanina has exhibited extensively both
nationally and internationally. Her work has been displayed at the
Seoul Art Museum, Russian Contemporary Art Museum, Chelsea Museum
of Sex, Beijing NYArts Gallery, The Lab Gallery and other venues.
Her videos were selected for the Moscow International Festival of
Graphic Stories 2007, 700IS Hreidnyraland, Iceland, Her Shorts 2007,
Women's International Video Festival and other festivals.
Lanina has been a recipient of the Award of Excellence
in the Manhattan Arts International Competition, Spencer Scholarship,
NESIYA Fellowship, and other awards. Her upcoming shows would include
2x13 Gallery, Chelsea, New York and ADA gallery, Richmond, Virginia.
