Cornelius Brown
Cornelius Brown started dancing at
age 17 at the Dance Academy in Warner Robins, Georgia, and was subsequently
invited to train and perform with Atlanta Festival Ballet. He attended
summer programs on scholarship at Columbia City Ballet in South Carolina
and Boston Ballet. He earned a BFA in Dance Performance at Southern
Methodist University and appeared with the Fort Worth Ballet. In 2001
he moved to New York and has worked as an apprentice under Bill T.
Jones/Arnie Zane Dance Company. He has taught at Elliot Feld’s
Ballet Tech School and has performed with Jennifer Archibald, Yong
Soon Kim, Dodge Dance Company, Redwall Dance Company, and Christopher
Caines. Mr. Brown has worked as a dancer with a number of film makers
and photographers including Lois Greenfield. Cornelius joined C. Eule
Dance in 2004.
