Tony Marques
Tony Marques (lighting designer) is a freelance lighting
designer who has worked principally in the field of dance. He recently
designed world premieres for “The Kings of Dance,” the
Paul Taylor Dance Company, Ballet Grandiva, Rebecca Kelly Ballet,
Wendy Osserman, Syren Dance, Nicholas Andre Dance Theater, and Thomas/Ortiz
Dance. He has also taught Dance Production for the Conservatory of
Dance at SUNY Purchase. While teaching he managed to design concerts
for C. Eule Dance at the Cunningham Studio, Take Dance Company at
Joyce SoHo, YAGP Ballet at City Center Theater and American Academy
of Ballet at Purchase PAC. He has also been invited to design an Off-Broadway
Show at the Lion Theater, Theater Row, and a Christmas show for vocalist
Linda Eder at the Palace Theater on Broadway.
